BEN PEARSON BROADHEADS

1939,

In 1939 Ben Pearson came out with ribbed broadheads. The heads were just numbered 1,2, and 3



1940,

In 1940 Ben Pearson listed fish points on Birch shafts in their catalog.

I anyone has a DEEP SEA POINT, please let me know. I know a collector that needs one.



1942,

In 1942 Ben Pearson gave numbers to the ribbed broadheads.This design lasted until 1946



1945,

In the 1945 catalog there was only one broadhead listed. They sugested using it as a hunting head and a fishing head



1947,

In 1947 the ribbed design of the pearson heads was improved. A solid ferrule head was added to the line.



1955,

In 1955 the No. 781 and the No. 782 were still in the line, a new head the No. 784 was added.



1957,

In 1957 there were a number of heads listed in the catalog.This was the high point for Pearson broadheads. The greatest va riety of any year.



1963,

In a 1963 Locksley catalog I found this broadhead. It is also in the 1965 Ben Pearson catalog.

1967,

In 1967 Ben Pearson came out with the Deadhead.



1968,

In 1968 The Deadhead was improved.The back of the head is square as opposed to the rounded back of the original. There are several different versions.



1974,

Pearson came out with the switch blade head. It came in several colors Bronze, White, Yellow,and Green.



1978 ,

The switch blade only came in bronze from 1978 to 1979.



1980,

The Super Switch Blade has a chisel point, instead of the sharp point.



The Pearson Silver Tip, a screw in head with replaceable blades.
