Herter's bows have a serial number that includes the length of the bow, the month the bow was made,the year the bows was made, and the number of that type of bow made that month. I wish all the archery companies had used serial numbers like this. A serial number for example 5201070015 --52 is the length of the bow--010 is the month the bow is made--70 is the year the bow was made--015 is the number of that type of bows made that month.
